“Fishing is much more than fish. It is the great occasion when we may return to the fine simplicity of our forefathers.”

Set amid beautiful natural landscapes reminiscent of the primeval forest, the estate’s fishing ground on the Danube and its tributaries offers a truly beautiful nature experience. Our fishing regulations are adapted to reflect conditions in the national park with care and a focus on sustainability and conservation.

Our fishing ground is located on the right bank of the Danube River and encompasses the tributaries (branches of the Danube) of an area to the east of Vienna between Wildungsmauer and Bad Deutsch Altenburg. The estate maintains over 120 ha of fishing waters, including the beautiful Tiergarten pond.

This 1.4 ha pond can be used to raise fish both for restocking and the table.
